Burying the Bourbon

The Tradition

Southern folklore and traditions  include the burying of the Bourbon bottle since Southern brides dream of outdoor Weddings and Receptions. The tradition goes the Bride and Groom bury a full bottle of Bourbon upside down exactly 30 days on site before the  ceremony to ensure the best weather possible . Of course the bottle must be dug up after the ceremony to celebrate the occasion and the weather. The origins are a little fuzzy but we have had a lot more successes than failures and we love great weather Too!
